Field trips

The aim of our field trips is to improve participants understanding on topics related to ethical and tasty food through meetings and exchanges with key actors, whether they are farmers, industrialists, politicians or association members. Our trips are valuable opportunities for experience and knowledge sharing and constitute an exceptional immersion into the diversity of places, people and products.
We offer both field trips with open registration and customized field trips for groups. They mainly target Swiss and foreign professionals but also the general public who seek to discover the diversity world of agriculture, production and the tasting of local products.

Next study tour in Croatia // October 16-12, 2012 (in french)

Study tours on PDO and PGI target discovering and analyzing the quality policies of a region or a country  through various examples of labelized products. The program includes farm and factory visits as well as meetings with key governmental and organization-related actors.

Studying the host nation’s certification system is a central aspect of this trip. 

The trip is organized in collaboration with AGRIDEA (the Swiss Association for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas) and targets Swiss professionals seeking to compare their experience in quality policies with those of other regions in Europe and abroad.

Our cultural trips focus on visiting natural and cultural landscapes, meeting farmers and processors and discovering thus traditional production and processing methods, tasting local products and learning how to prepare them according to local, traditional customs. Relaxing in exceptional and magnificent places is also part of our concept.
